The Laurel Village Association Presents

SUMMER SOLSTICE MUSIC FESTIVAL
 - FETE DE LA MUSIQUE -

JUNE 21, 2008


For the third year in a row, the Laurel Village Association is coordinating a Summer Solstice Music Festival on June 21, 2008.  This year we are an official affiliate of Fete de la Musique, an international music phenomena that ushers in the Solstice in over 300 cities worldwide.  Amateur and professional musicians perform for free in unconventional public spaces such as street corners, merchant parking lots, schoolyards, and residential driveways.  Join us at 16 different sites throughout Oakland's Laurel neighborhood from 1:00 - 7:00 p.m. on June 21st!

The Laurel neighborhood of Oakland is located along MacArthur Boulevard between 35th Avenue and High Street and up to Harborview towards the Oakland Hills.
